Will there be a lot of walking?
Yes! In fact, when we are in Paris, we take the subway to and from our destinations, which includes stairs and connecting tunnels, and we frequently walk to our close destinations. In addition, there is walking in the museums, castles, and villages. Wear comfortable shoes. In order to go on this tour, you should be able to walk well, but don't worry, we go slowly.

Who should go on the tour?
Our groups are comprised of mixed ages and consist of community members, friends and family, out-of-state participants, and a few students and teachers. You should go on our tour if you would like to connect with some truly beautiful and often spiritual art--paintings, architecture, cathedrals, and sculpture. Or perhaps you would like an opportunity to have an experienced tour leader and guide explain the sights and art as we travel.

Will there be any trip preparation given?
Yes! A lot. If you'd appreciate a really thorough preparation, travel newsletters throughout the year and a pre-trip orientation meeting, complete with packing lists and practical information, then join our tour!

Will there be free time on the tour?
This tour has been specially prepared to include a maximum amount of artistic sites and excursions. You will have free time within the excursions and also on certain afternoons and evenings as well. After dinner, many of the evenings are free. Our leader often finds concerts, theater, ballet or other events to offer you as an optional evening activity. Please consult the itinerary for details.

What if I sign up alone and don't have anyone to go with?
If you wish, you will be assigned a roommate. In addition, during the day you will be touring with the group and eating breakfast and dinner with the group. You will have plenty of company and ample opportunity to make new friends! If you wish, single rooms are available for a supplemental fee.
